I love the place, is a great LGbTIQ+ space to have a great time, however, I think this DJ doesn't represent what the place is, you def lneed a DJ to show the community how we have fun in Dub. I have to say.. He does not cover the standard of fun you have
My friend and I went to this place to dance and have fun, but unfortunately, the security guy asked us to go away because there were sitting VIP guests who wanted to watch a rugby match. It was a gay bar where people usually go to have fun, dance, and socialize, but these guests ruined the atmosphere. We felt disappointed and decided not to come back to this place anytime soon.
Amazing place! I visited with my girlfriend, some lovely people offered us a seat from their reserved tables, because we were just wandering around, no place to sit. I am from Hungary so it was overwhelming that such a good, queer place exists. There was a pride beer, and amazing decoration. I will definitely go back.
Me and a couple of friends tried entering this venue well before closing time and were asked if we had a reservation or had visited before. Upon confirming that we hadn't, my friends and I were told that we couldn't enter and we should have gone elsewhere. The bouncer was unhelpful and aggressive. The venue wasn’t overcrowded, and it was unclear why he chose to act this way. What it’s clear is that if you don't fit a specific "profile," you're not welcome. I recommend avoiding this place and opting for an alternative place.
This was a really fun place. Firstly, the drinks were good and the shamrock cocktail was particularly delicious. The staff were pretty friendly too. The venue was very large, and it had a great vibe. It felt like a safe space.
I’d definitely come back here.
Like many others posting reviews, my partner and I approached this bar and were asked if we had a reservation. We were sent away by the doorman, but when we walked down the street a short distance and turned around, it was clear to see we were simply being discriminated against as many others were being waived.in with no issues. Disgusting to be honest. No straight bar would prevent gays from entering, but somehow this bar thinks it can turn people away if they don't like the look of.you. I felt discriminated against and treated unfairly, not to mention the doorman was terribly rude. Would not recommend or return to this established.
My new favourite pub in Dublin. The music volume is just as it should be, not too loud and not too low. The pub is very nicely decorated with very nice lights. They also have board games. Perfect for a night out with friends.
The bouncer/security at the back door tonight was a legend. I lost my ID early in the night, he came and found me and gave it back to me. Absolutely made my night! DJ and Bar staff were also super cool 😎
